This conference is targeted at Cloud, DevOps and SREs looking to network, grow and leverage opportunities within the community. Experts from all over the world will be flying down to Nigeria to share ideas and knowledge across various DevOps tenets in line with our theme Shifting Left

Why “Shifting Left”?

The industry must shift from reactive practices to proactive and diagnostic measures — Google SRE

Shifting Left was inspired by an approach in Software Development Lifecycle where testing is performed early in the software development lifecycle. This inspired us as a community because we started from hosting little meetups aiming to introduce people and organizations to the DevOps cultures and how to imbibe them in their Organization, to sharing with our ever-growing community which now comprise of Startups and Large Organizations how to build and architect their infrastructure to scale using DevOps principles.

We have held several Localhost Meetups and Conference since 2018, at a time when DevOps was not very popular in Nigeria, we have been able to break the barriers to knowledge around what DevOps is and what its not.

Now we want to use our knowledge and understanding of how things should work to make improve the DevOps culture and practices amongst organizations in Nigeria and across Africa, as a result of this, we will be inviting thought leaders from all over the world to come and share with us the “Shift Left” mentality across the followings core tenets:
